Martijn Gilbert

Martijn Gilbert has extensive experience in the transportation industry. Martijn started their career at Thames Bus, where they developed and grew a local bus operation. Martijn then joined Central Parking System as an Operations, Support & Engineering Manager. After that, they worked at Wiltax/Tellings Golden-Miller as a General Manager. Following this, they held various roles at Arriva, including Business Director for Yorkshire Tiger Buses and Divisional Operations for UK Trains. Gilbert then became the CEO of Reading Buses before moving on to become the Managing Director of Go North East and East Yorkshire. Martijn was also the Chair of NEbus, an association of North East bus operators. Currently, they are serving as a Non-Executive Director at NEASUS. Throughout their career, Gilbert has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, driving growth and delivering improvements in customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Martijn Gilbert attended Thurrock College from 1999 to 2000, where they studied business studies.
