Brian Goldthorpe

Brian Goldthorpe, MA Communication, BA, CDCA, PRS, currently serves as Acting Manager of Community Operations at firsthand, overseeing a team of peer supporters and case managers while providing comprehensive support for individuals living with Serious Mental Illness and Substance Use Disorder. Prior experience includes business development at White Light Behavioral Health, where strategic relationships were cultivated, and a long tenure as a communications consultant at Privileged Communication, providing services to notable clients. Brian's background also involves significant roles in public policy with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and legislative assistance for Ohio State Senator Jeff Jacobson. Academically, Brian holds a Master of Arts in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communication from Denison University.
