Jessie Fitzgerald

Jessie Fitzgerald currently serves as a Guide Team Lead and Senior Community Resource Guide at firsthand, where responsibilities include connecting individuals to vital community resources and creating detailed online documentation for the SOAR application process. Previously, Jessie worked as an Employment Consultant at J Fitz Employment Services, focusing on remote employment opportunities and employer relationships, and as a Job Developer at Health Connect America, developing training for employment services. Additional experience includes roles as an Employment Specialist at Trellis, Inc. and Abilities at Work, where Jessie managed caseloads and collaborated with vocational rehabilitation services, along with earlier work as a Community Access Specialist at Compass Career Solutions. Jessie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Appalachian State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
