Media Sehatzadeh

Media Sehatzadeh, P.E., M.Sc. serves as the Chief Dam Safety Engineer at FirstLight Power, overseeing the Owner’s Dam Safety Program (ODSP), conducting routine and emergency inspections, and leading design and engineering analyses for hydroelectric projects. Previously, Media held the position of Regional Dam Safety Engineer at Central Rivers Power, where responsibilities included inspections and project management of engineering analyses. Media's earlier experience includes roles as a Hydrologist and Hydraulic Engineer with GZA GeoEnvironmental, DHI, and Multiconsult, focusing on hydrological modeling, flood analysis, and dam safety. Academically, Media holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Geology and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, alongside teaching experience at the University of Oslo.
