Kathleen Spooner

Kathleen Spooner serves as the Executive Director at FirstLight Home Care since January 2023. Previously, Kathleen held the position of Vice President of Clinical Services and Product Specialist at Complia Health from October 2016 to July 2021. Prior to that, Kathleen was the Director of Operations at ResCare Home Health, overseeing home care and skilled nursing services across nine states from July 2014 to September 2016. Kathleen's extensive experience in home care includes roles as the Director of Operations/General Manager at ResCare HomeCare, where responsibilities included regional oversight for seven states in the Northeast. Kathleen's career at ResCare HomeCare began after the acquisition of Kelly Home Care in April 2007, where Kathleen worked as the Executive Director and Clinical Quality Manager, among other roles since 1999. Earlier experience includes serving as a Per Diem RN at Gentiva Health Services. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Troy University, obtained between 1978 and 1981.
