Mark Vanase has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Their most recent role is as Chief Operating Officer at FirstLight Home Care, starting in March 2023. Prior to this, they were the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Franchise Services at FirstLight Home Care from April 2021 to March 2023. Before joining FirstLight Home Care, Mark worked at ServiceMaster Restore, where they held positions such as Vice President-North American Operations, Senior Director of Operations, and Director of Field Operations. Mark was with ServiceMaster Restore from February 2021 to April 2021, and from April 2019 to February 2021, and from January 2015 to April 2019, respectively. Mark also has experience at ServiceMaster Clean as Director of Business Development and Regional Director from December 2007 to January 2015 and July 1996 to December 2007, respectively. Mark served as the Director of Learning at Bess Eaton Coffee Shop & Bakery from June 1994 to January 1996. Mark's early career involved working at PepsiCo as the General and Training Manager from August 1992 to June 1994.
Mark Vanase earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. In 2018, they obtained a certification as a Certified Franchise Executive from the ICFE.
