Mongezi Hadebe

Mongezi Hadebe is a finance professional with extensive experience in auditing and risk assurance. Currently serving as a Specialist Auditor at FirstRand Corporate Centre since May 2024, Mongezi conducts internal audits focused on application controls reviews, business process reviews, and project assurance. Previously, Mongezi held the position of Senior Associate 2 at PwC South Africa from January 2022 to April 2024, specializing in IT audit and risk assurance. Prior to that, Mongezi worked as a Junior Consultant at SNG Grant Thornton from March 2020 to January 2022, gaining valuable experience as an IT audit trainee in external audit. Mongezi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Financial Accounting, Internal Auditing, and Taxation from the University of Pretoria, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Audit from the University of South Africa.
