Patrick Tran

Patrick Tran has extensive work experience in the tax industry. Patrick currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Tax at FirstService Corp since February 2023. Previously, they held the role of Vice President of Tax at the same company from February 2019 to February 2023. From April 2014 to February 2019, they served as the Director and Head of Tax at FirstService Corp.

Before joining FirstService Corp, Patrick worked at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. for a significant period from 2003 to 2014. During their time there, they served as the Senior Manager of US & International Tax from January 2008 to April 2014. Patrick also held the positions of Manager of US Tax from July 2005 to December 2007, and Senior Analyst of US Tax from June 2003 to June 2005.

Patrick's career started at KPMG in Canada in 1997, where they served in various roles. Patrick worked as a Manager of US Tax from October 2002 to June 2003. Prior to that, they were an Analyst of US Tax from August 2000 to October 2002. Patrick began their career as an Audit Senior from September 1997 to July 2000.

Patrick Tran completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree, with a focus on Accounting and Economics, from the University of Toronto. Patrick attended the university from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2002 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
