Ramesh Yechangunja

Ramesh Yechangunja is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Technology at Firstsource since February 2022, Ramesh previously held the position of Director at Cognizant's IoT Center of Excellence, where emphasis was placed on Smart Buildings and the Internet of Medical Things. Ramesh's leadership extended to research initiatives in fields such as 5G and IoT security. Earlier roles at Cognizant included Research Leader and Head of R&D at the Bangalore Center, and Head of Human-Machine Interactions, where Ramesh drove significant advancements in commercial applications of technologies like Extended Reality. Ramesh's career began as Senior Technology Officer at Yantric Inc, an MIT startup, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Quantum Bio Inc. Ramesh holds a Master of Science in Computer Networking from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bangalore University.
