Katy Fuqua

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Public Health at the University of Georgia in Athens, GA, Ms. Fuqua relocated to Charleston, SC. Her career in clinical research began at the Medical University of South Carolina, coordinating clinical trials concerned with addiction sciences and neuropsychology. Ms. Fuqua then transitioned with this critical expertise from academic industry to grow as a Clinical Operations Lead with FirstString Research, Inc. Her efforts are currently focused on the day-to-day operations, monitoring activities, and general project implementation across FirstString’s clinical projects. Out of office, Ms. Fuqua enjoys college football (Go Dawgs!) and exploring the Charleston culinary scene.
