Susanne Haugebak

Ms. Haugebak has over 20 years of experience with top-tier Pharmaceutical and CRO companies and has managed and partnered with both full-service providers and functional service departments. Ms. Haugebak specializes in Sponsor and CRO Management and Oversight, Project Management, Vendor and Strategic Partnerships, Monitoring, Quality Assurance, and Process Management. Her expertise is in driving compliance, efficiencies, and execution of clinical trials, both internally sponsored and those managed by partnering CROs. Prior to joining FirstString Research, Ms. Haugebak was a senior leader at ICON Clinical Research managing monitoring, clinical operations, and strategic partnerships. Her therapeutic background of oversight includes, but is not limited to: Oncology, Adaptive Cell Therapy, Infectious Disease, Vaccines, and Neuroscience. At FirstString Research, Ms. Haugebak works closely with the Sr. Director and Director(s) of Research and Development and reports to the CEO. She manages a team including representatives from Study Start-Up, Data Management, Project Management, and Clinical Operations. Her role is to ensure that the execution of clinical trials focuses on safety, ICH-GCP and FDA-CFR compliance, data integrity, and that the fiduciary expectations are met. Ms. Haugebak holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Psychology with post graduate work in Biostatistics.
