Shantaveer Hosamath

Shantaveer Hosamath has a diverse work experience in the field of security testing and quality assurance. Shantaveer started their career in 2009 as a Project Engineer at the Commissionerate of RD, where they conducted security testing on payment methods and hardware components. Shantaveer also provided training to clients on application operation.

In 2015, Shantaveer joined Tejosma Technologies as a Senior QA Engineer, focusing on integration testing, regression testing, security testing, and API testing. Shantaveer performed security testing on various in-house stock broker products and prepared detailed VAPT reports.

From 2017 to 2019, Shantaveer worked at Make My Trip Group Company (Bitla Software) as a Lead QA for Application Security. Their responsibilities included creating and implementing security testing strategies, conducting DAST using tools like OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite, and identifying potential threats related to payments and integrations.

Currently, Shantaveer is employed at FirstWave Cloud Technology as a Test Engineer for Security Products. Their role involves testing and product signoff for email security, web security, and firewall security. Shantaveer develops automated test scripts using Python in the Robot framework and Docker. Shantaveer is also responsible for daily CI scrubbing and publishing test results.

Throughout their career, Shantaveer has demonstrated expertise in security testing, vulnerability analysis, and report preparation.

Shantaveer Hosamath has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University. This degree is in the field of Computer and Information Sciences, General. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained the following certifications: LPT(Master) from EC-Council in April 2018, and EC Council Certified Security Analyst (ECSA) from EC-Council in November 2017.
