André van Pletzen

André van Pletzen has a solid work experience in the field of Environment, Health, and Safety. André started their career in 2006 as an Environment, Health, and Safety Manager at Rishcon, where they worked until August 2012. After that, they joined Steeledale (Pty) Ltd / Aveng Steeledale as an EHSQ Management Consultant from August 2013 to January 2019. Since January 2019, André has been working at Firth Industries, where they started as a Northern Region EHS Advisor and later became the Northern Operations Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Environment, Health, and Safety.

André van Pletzen attended NOSA from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Occupational Safety and Health Technology/Technician.
