Andrés Choussy

Andrés Choussy is the president of the Capital Markets segment at FIS. In this role, Andrés is responsible for driving growth by developing and delivering innovative, client-centric platforms for asset managers, corporates, insurance firms, lenders, investment banks, custodians, and trading and clearing firms.

With his deep industry expertise and proven track record of leveraging emerging technologies, Andrés leads a team dedicated to aligning investments and fostering innovation across a diverse product and solution ecosystem that supports over 6,000 clients globally.

Most recently, he was the executive vice president leading the Trading and Asset Services (T&AS) business at FIS, which has undergone a meaningful growth transformation. Andrés led with strategic clarity – accelerating growth, elevating client satisfaction, embracing end-to-end agile principles and strengthening the organization through several impactful M&A transactions. His results-driven approach and commitment to excellence have reshaped the trajectory of the business. Prior to joining FIS, he held leadership roles at Baton System, Traiana and JP Morgan Chase.

A native of El Salvador, Andrés began his career at Banco Cuscatlan in El Salvador. He earned an MBA in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural economics from Cornell University.
