Payel Banerjee

Payel Banerjee is an experienced learning and development leader currently serving as Learning Director and Global Head of Technology Capability Development at FIS since February 2024. Previously, as General Manager and Head of Learning and Development at Voya India, Payel oversaw capability development across global business units while being part of the Executive Leadership Team. At Standard Chartered Bank, Payel led the People Capability function for Retail Banking Operations and managed over 6,000 employees in the Bangalore Hub. Payel's career also includes significant roles at ABB, where responsibilities involved senior management in leadership development, and at Capgemini, where Payel led learning initiatives across multiple countries. Payel holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Strategy and Leadership from the Swiss School of Business and Management and an EPHRM in Human Resources Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
