S Derrin Watson

S Derrin Watson is a Pension Attorney, Author, and Educator with extensive experience in retirement plans since 2002. They currently serve as of counsel to the Ferenczy Benefits Law Center and as a Senior Management Consultant at FIS, where they focus on drafting plan documents and advising on pension law. Watson has authored influential works, including "Who's the Employer" and the "403(b) Plan eSource," and has received the Lifetime Achievement Award from NIPA in 2023. Prior to their current role, they held positions at SunGard Relius and Keltner & Schreiber, specializing in tax, retirement plans, and estate planning. Watson obtained a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles and a BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University.
