James Wilson has had a varied and successful career in the technology industry. James began their career in 2001 as a Customer Service Advisor at Dell, where they were quickly promoted to Operational Analyst, UKIRSA Performance Manager, and EMEA Project Manager. In 2009, they took on the role of Domestic Electrical Installer and MD for A Wilson's Wiring Ltd. In 2012, they became a Business Analyst at Elsevier, and in 2014 they were promoted to Product Manager at FE. In 2017, they took on the role of Product Manager at XE.com, and in 2019 they were promoted to Product Manager at TrustQuay, where they were responsible for the flagship 5Series wealth management product. In 2021, they became a Product Owner at FISCAL Technologies.

James Wilson attended the University of Exeter from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a BSc 2:2 Hons in Biology. James then attended Reading Blue Coat School from 2001 to 2008.
