Holger Handstein

Holger Handstein has extensive experience in the field of financial and professional services communications, currently serving as a member of the management board and Business Director at fischerAppelt since July 2019. Previously, Holger held the position of Director of Financial Services at Edelman from October 2018 to June 2019 and advanced through various roles at Edelman.ergo GmbH between April 2011 and September 2018, including Account Director of Digital FinComm and Head of Content. As the founder of Der Privatanleger, a financial website, Holger managed operations from 2009 to March 2017. Additionally, Holger worked as an Online Editor at Verbraucherzentrale Nordrhein-Westfalen from June 2009 to March 2011 and was a self-employed freelance journalist and editor from March 2001 to March 2009. Holger holds a Dr. phil. and Diplom in Journalism from TU Dortmund University and has also received training at Neue Ruhr/Rhein Zeitung.
