Derek Swords

Derek Swords is an accomplished product leader with extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors. Currently serving as Head of Product for Digital Payment Solutions at Fiserv since January 2018, Swords oversees the development of key products including Checkfree, Zelle, and TransferNow, focusing on enhancing customer experiences for large financial institutions. Previously, Swords held the position of Vice President of Product Management at Fiserv, leading digital banking product initiatives. Earlier roles include Director of Product Management at Service Management Group, Senior Product Manager at 3M Health Care, and Director of Product Development at H&R Block, where Swords was instrumental in creating innovative services and successful digital product portfolios. Swords holds an MBA from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies and English from the same institution.
