John Gibbons

John Gibbons is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as EVP and Head of Financial Institutions at Fiserv since July 2019, Gibbons also heads the EMEA region. Prior to Fiserv, Gibbons held the position of EVP at First Data Corporation from December 2018 to July 2019. Gibbons' previous roles include Head of Global Transaction Banking at Deutsche Bank, where a growth strategy was led for the business, and Region Executive for EMEA for Treasury Services at J.P. Morgan, overseeing a large team across multiple countries. Gibbons has also served as COO at RBS and ABN AMRO Bank N.V., as well as in financial institutions relationship management and sales at Bankers Trust. Academic credentials include a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut and a high school diploma from Choate Rosemary Hall.
