Marcelo Almeida

Marcelo Almeida is an IT executive currently serving as the CIO for Latin America at Fiserv, overseeing tech platforms for Merchant Acquiring, Issuing, and Banking across 20+ countries. With extensive experience in the financial services industry, Marcelo has held various roles in architecture governance, project management, and technology consulting. They have previously worked as the IT Architecture Director at First Data Corporation and held multiple technology roles at Citigroup. Marcelo earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from USP - Universidade de São Paulo and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology. They are trilingual, fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
