Fernando Blanco

Fernando Blanco is an accomplished information technology professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Associate CIO - Latin America and Chief Information Security Officer at CHRISTUS Health since 2015, Fernando has a strong background in IT processes, security, and audit management through previous positions at PepsiCo, spanning from 1997 to 2015, where roles included Global Director of IT Processes and Controls and IT Security Manager. Before joining PepsiCo, Fernando was a Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1993 to 1996. Fernando holds an MBA from Texas A&M University-Commerce and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of the State of New York, alongside a Management and Leadership certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management.
