Michael Zhang

Michael Zhang is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in product management and engineering, focusing on AI and data-driven solutions. Currently serving as Vice President of Product and Head of AI & Data at Fiserv, Michael has a strong background in developing APIs and digital journeys for financial institutions. Previously, Michael held leadership positions at Ondot Systems Inc., where responsibilities included managing AI and data science initiatives, and at Visa, where expertise was applied to innovate payment analytics and developer platforms. Michael's engineering contributions began at Openwave and other technology firms, where pioneering efforts included mobile Internet products and artificial intelligence agents. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Spatial Statistics & GIS and multiple degrees in statistics and regional economics from leading universities.
