Revathi Kandoji

Revathi Kandoji has over 14 years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning. Revathi began their career in 2007 as a Software Engineer at Infosys Limited, where they were involved in various stages of SDLC including requirement analysis, design, development and live deployments. In 2013, they joined New York University as a Graduate Assistant, where they were responsible for Database design and cloning using PostgreSQL and Linux administration of Xen servers using Python and Bash. That same year, they also joined Bytemark, Inc. as a Backend Developer and worked on developing platform API calls and functionalities in Java for mobile payment system and merchant web app, as well as creating, updating and querying database models using Hibernate Query Language. In 2014, Revathi joined FactSet as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed, developed, built and deployed data intensive software applications consuming real-time and historical big data with focus on low latency and high availability. Revathi also wrote data ingestion jobs to store data in HBase and Hadoop MapReduce jobs to process large datasets. In 2019, they moved to Compass as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2022, they were appointed as Lead Machine Learning Backend Engineer at Fishbowl.

Revathi Kandoji obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from New York University in 2014.
