Melissa Benson

Melissa Benson is an experienced professional in the field of academic programs and services, currently serving as the Senior Director at Fisher College since August 2007. Throughout this tenure, Melissa has held various leadership positions, including Director of Academic Programs and Services and Coordinator of Online Education, focusing on enhancing distance learning resources to support evolving online learners. Prior experience includes serving as the Blackboard User Support & Instructional Technology Representative, where Melissa managed Blackboard administration and provided training and support to faculty, staff, and students. Before joining Fisher College, Melissa was the Assistant General Manager at Extended Stay Hotels. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Management from Endicott College and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology/Criminology and Law from Suffolk University, along with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Dean College.
