Shannon S. (Shay)

Shannon Spencer-Watson currently serves as a Board Trustee for the Virginia Veterans Services Foundation, appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin, focusing on strategic governance and resource management to support Virginia's veterans. In addition, Shannon manages the Fisher Service Award Program at the Fisher House Foundation, overseeing the annual award competition and application processes. Previously, Shannon worked at the Army Historical Foundation as a Development Officer and Event Coordinator, raising significant funds and managing donor relations. Shannon's experience also includes roles at the International Association of Chiefs of Police, where responsibilities encompassed project coordination and collaboration with the White House, as well as positions at the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, Pioneer Services, and the US Army. Shannon holds a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, along with an Associate degree in Multidisciplinary Studies.
