Chris French

Chris French is a seasoned professional in the pulp and paper industry with extensive experience in sales, research, and operations spanning several decades. Currently serving as a Senior Researcher at ResourceWise since January 2013, Chris focuses on updating and managing the Database of Pulp & Paper Companies. Previous roles include Regional Sales Manager positions at GL&V Sweden and GL&V Australia, with a strong background in technical sales and service. Chris has also held managerial roles in companies such as GME Japan and J&L Fiber Services, where responsibilities included sales management of refiner plates across Australasia. Early career experiences include positions as Assistant Operations Manager at Caxton Paper Mills and as an Industrial Chemist at Lactose Company. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of Auckland and a Higher School Certificate in Chemistry and Maths from Kelston High School.
