Efrain Gamarra

Efrain Gamarra is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment strategy and financial management. Currently serving as a Portfolio Counselor at Fisher Investments since September 2021, Efrain specializes in designing tailored investment strategies for US Private Group clients, adhering to the Fiduciary Standard. Efrain co-founded Negosy, a fintech startup, where the role as CFO involves overseeing a cloud-based financial management tool for small businesses. Prior experience includes a tenure at Merrill Lynch as a Financial Solutions Advisor, where Efrain was recognized with the Pinnacle Award for top performance, and as a Relationship Manager at Banco Santander focusing on the Brazilian market. Efrain began the career in education, teaching Spanish and World History in the Palm Beach County School District. Efrain holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from Florida International University and has a background in International Relations.
