David Kiely

David Kiely is a Senior Design Transfer Quality Engineer at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare since April 2023, specializing in the launch of products for the Obstructive Sleep Apnea Homecare sector, with expertise in Injection Moulding, Welding, and Knitting and Textile Processes. Prior to this role, David served as a Quality Engineer I at Boston Scientific from October 2020 to April 2023, where strong problem-solving and mistake-proofing skills were developed, alongside experience in batch release processes. As a lead Quality Engineer in a New Product Introduction project, David successfully facilitated product launches while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and the EUMDR. Previous experience includes an assistant managerial position at The Golden Pheasant and a student internship at BD-GenCell Biosystems. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Limerick, completed in May 2020.
