Penelope Maxwell

Penelope Maxwell has a diverse work experience beginning in 2012. Penelope started their career as a Summer Student at New Zealand Steel, where they gained valuable experience in Process Engineering and Finishing Plants. In 2014, they joined Fisher & Paykel Healthcare as an Assistant Product Development Engineer, working on research projects and utilizing computational fluid dynamics in ANSYS. Penelope then progressed to the role of Product Development Engineer, responsible for designing 3D printed molds for silicone-based face replica models. In 2018, Penelope transitioned to a Business Insights Analyst position at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare before moving on to become a Business Analyst - Data, where they successfully implemented Power BI as an analytics tool for the global business. Currently, they hold the position of Data Analytics Specialist and Data Analytics Lead, leading analytics implementation and acting as a key advisory on data projects for the company.

Penelope Maxwell completed their Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honors in Engineering Science at The University of Auckland from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their formal education, they obtained two additional certifications: Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in August 2021, and Data Science and Big Data Analytics: Making Data-Driven Decisions from edX in December 2018.
