William Sturme

William Sturme is a seasoned professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Product Development Manager at Fisher & Paykel Healthcare since October 2019, where William has also held roles as a Senior Product Development Engineer and Product Development Engineer. Prior to this, William co-founded Greenlight, an agricultural startup dedicated to creating sustainable farming equipment, notably the 'Sustainabloc,' a compostable orthopedic sole for bovine lameness. William's entrepreneurial experience also includes co-founding Luprio and contributing as a Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Chemical Feed Solutions. Earlier in their career, William gained experience as a Student Engineer at Gamminco and completed a Student Internship at I.C Steel Creations, alongside participation in the University of Auckland Formula SAE Team. William holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland, completed in 2015, and has a strong foundation in science and design from Whakatane High School.
