Mohamed Barry assists clients with traditional labor matters involving collective bargaining, union organizing, labor arbitrations, and strikes. In addition, Mohamed advises clients to help them comply with laws and regulations affecting the workplace and defends companies in employment-related disputes in court and alternative dispute resolution forums.
Previously a member of the Labor Law Practice Group at a Newark, New Jersey-based general practice firm, Mohamed also served three years as Deputy Attorney General in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, where he prosecuted trials and handled hearings and arguments in state Superior Court. Mohamed was selected as a member of the 2020 Class for Leadership Newark’s Public Policy Fellows, a two-year leadership development program for emerging and established leaders, committed to building stronger communities through activism and civic engagement.
He is a former clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Nelson of the New Jersey Superior Court’s Civil Division in Essex County.
Mohamed is admitted in New York and New Jersey. He is not admitted in Pennsylvania but is supervised by a licensed Pennsylvania bar member.
