Alyssa Mencio

Alyssa Mencio has a varied work experience. Alyssa began their career as a student at Lasell College in 2006. In 2007, they took on the role of Visual Specialist at Gap Inc./Banana Republic. In 2009, they interned at the Boston Ballet in the Costume Shop. That same year, they also worked as a Costume Design Assistant at Goodspeed Musicals, where they assembled full show packages from scratch, found costumes for clients' specific productions, and maintained an organized stock of 500,000+ costumes. In 2010, they interned at both Sugarplum USA and Royal Footwear and Accessories. In 2013, they became an Associate Technical Designer - Denim Bottoms at Jade Marketing Group LLC, where they developed full tech packs based on product development team's vision, and measured samples and prepared for fittings. In 2017, they took on the role of Apparel Product Design and Production Director at Fishers Finery, where they created a company process for new product launch timeline from start to finish, researched and developed new product designs, and created tech packs for production use.

Alyssa Mencio earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design and Production from Lasell University in 2010. Alyssa also attended the American Institute of Foreign Study in 2008, studying Arts, Fashion, and Alyssa'story.
