Jennifer Hughes

Jennifer Hughes has worked in the seafood industry since 2014. Jennifer began their career as an Accounting Clerk at Bell Buoy Crab Co Inc in 2014. In 2015, they moved to Fishpeople Seafood where they held the roles of Operations Manager and Compliance Specialist. As Operations Manager, they provided inspired leadership for the organization, made important policy, planning, and strategy decisions, and developed, implemented and reviewed operational policies and procedures. As Compliance Specialist, they were responsible for AP/AR Vessel Settlements, Payroll, Data Entry, Audit Compliance, Supply Chain and MSC knowledge, and worked alongside FDA, Dept. of Commerce, NOAA, Fish and Wildlife, and Dept of Agriculture.

Jennifer Hughes obtained a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma from Villanova University in 2018. Jennifer also obtained a Lean Six Sigma certification from Villanova University in October 2018 and a Haccp certification from the FDA in August 2018.
