Joshua Slama

Joshua Slama has several years of experience in the field of information security. Joshua is currently working at Fishtech Group as a Security Engineer, specializing in Vulnerability Management. Prior to that, they worked at NTT Security as a Vulnerability Services Engineer for two years and as a Vulnerability Services Analyst for three years. Before joining NTT Security, Joshua worked at Solutionary as an Information Security Analyst. Joshua also has experience in sales, having worked as a Sales Associate at Shopko. Additionally, they gained valuable experience as a Network Security Intern at Principal Financial Group.

Joshua Slama began their education in 2010 at Western Iowa Tech Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Science degree in Cyber Crime Investigations. Joshua attended this institution until 2012. Following that, from 2012 to 2014, Joshua attended Dakota State University, where they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Information Assurance.

In terms of certifications, Joshua obtained the Security+ certification from CompTIA in September 2014. Joshua then obtained the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) in August 2016. Their most recent certification is the GIAC Penetration Tester, which they obtained from the SANS Institute in December 2017.
