Jim started their career as a Manufacturing Process Engineer at Phelps Dodge Wire & Cable - HPC, where they led the engineering support for a multi-million dollar manufacturing unit. Jim then worked as a General Shift Supervisor at BICC/Cablec Utility Cable Company, managing a diverse group of employees and overseeing production and maintenance.
After that, Jim joined Kings Electronics as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where they introduced agile manufacturing cells and successfully implemented them in important product lines. Jim later joined Superior Essex/Essex Group Inc as a Plant Manager, where they re-engineered the organization and implemented Lean Manufacturing initiatives to reduce operating expenses.
