Philipp Paulweber's work experience begins in 2007 as a Technical Assistant at Funk Fuchs. Philipp then worked at Bregenzer Festspiele GmbH as an Audience Service member in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Senior Coach and later a Junior Coach at LernQuadrat. In 2010, they became a Teaching Assistant (Tutor) at Vienna University of Technology, and in 2012, they joined TTTech Computertechnik AG as an Embedded Software Developer. In 2015, they became a University Assistant (prae-doc) at the University of Vienna, where they stayed until 2020. During this time, from 2018 to 2018, they also worked as an Embedded Software Developer at CodeWerkstatt OG. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at fiskaly as an Embedded Software Engineer. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Research Project Assistant (post-doc) at Vienna University of Technology. Currently, in 2022, they are the Vice President of Engineering at fiskaly.

Philipp Paulweber started their education with primary school in Ehrwald, Tyrol, Austria from 1994 to 1998. Philipp then attended a secondary modern school in Ehrwald, Tyrol, Austria from 1998 to 2002, earning their secondary school qualification. Following this, they pursued higher education entrance qualification at the College of Mechanical Engineering (HTL) in Jenbach, Tyrol, Austria from 2002 to 2007, specializing in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Philipp went on to continue their studies at the Technische Universität Wien, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Engineering from 2008 to 2011. Philipp furthered their education at the same university, completing their Master of Science (MSc, Dipl.-Ing.) degree in Computer Engineering from 2011 to 2014. Lastly, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD, Dr. techn.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Vienna from 2015 to 2022.
