Åsa Ericson Hedström

Åsa Ericson Hedström has extensive experience in the legal field, particularly in the technology and consumer goods industries. Åsa is currently serving as the Vice President Legal for Fiskars Group, where they are responsible for all legal affairs globally and leads a team of lawyers in Europe and Asia. Prior to this, they held the role of VP, Legal & Compliance at Sony Mobile Communications AB, where they led a global team of 20 lawyers and acted as the principal legal advisor to the global Sales & Marketing management team. Åsa also held various legal roles at Sony Mobile Communications and Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, including Director, General Counsel, Nordics and Interim Head of Legal Department, EMEA. Before moving into the private sector, Åsa worked at the Swedish Competition Authority as a Reporting Official. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a strong focus on simplification and modernization of in-house legal work.

Åsa Ericson Hedström earned their LLM degree in International Business Law from Lund University, where they studied from 1987 to 1992. Following that, they pursued further education at Queen Mary University of London, where they completed another LLM degree in International Business Law from 1992 to 1993.
