Fit Professionals of Finance
Guus Achterweust is currently serving as a Junior Business Controller at wehkamp, starting August 2024, and simultaneously works as a Finance Professional for Fit Professionals of Finance since March 2022. Previous experience includes roles as a Projectcontroller at UMCG from February 2023 to August 2024 and Cash Manager at ECCO Shoes from April 2022 to February 2023. Guus has held leadership positions, such as Chairman of the Board at G.S.Z.C. De Walvisch and Treasurer of the Executive Board at the same organization. Additional experience includes a role in commercial relations for the London Banking Tour through the Risk Financial Study Association and web design at WebNexus. Guus holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business and a Minor in Finance from the University of Groningen, as well as a Master of Science in Business Administration specializing in Change Management from the same institution. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Controlling from Nyenrode Business University, Guus demonstrates a strong foundation in finance and business management.
