Andreas Karaiskos

Andreas Karaiskos is the current CEO of Fitch Learning, a global provider of financial education. Andreas has over 20 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry, including senior leadership positions at Barclays Wealth and HSBC.

Born in Greece, Andreas Karaiskos began their career in banking after graduating from the University of Athens with a degree in Economics. Andreas began working at HSBC in 2001, eventually becoming Global Head of Learning for the bank's Global Businesses division. In this role, Karaiskos was responsible for developing and delivering training programs for HSBC's 100,000+ employees worldwide.

In 2008, Karaiskos joined Barclays Wealth as Global Head of Leadership, Learning and Development. In this role, they oversaw the development and delivery of leadership and management programs for Barclays' 147,500 employees in over 50 countries.

In 2011, Karaiskos joined Fitch Group as CEO of Fitch Learning. In this role, they are responsible for the company's global operations, including its financial education programs for individuals and corporations.

Andreas Karaiskos is a certified accountant from the ICAEW and ACCA. Andreas has experience working in both public and private accounting firms.

Andreas Karaiskos works with Bart Oosterveld - Chief Criteria Officer, Fitch Ratings, Ian Linnell - President, Fitch Ratings, and Brian Filanowski - President, Fitch Solutions. Their manager is Paul Taylor, President & CEO, Fitch Group.
