Eugene Chiam

Eugene Chiam serves as the Director and Associate Product Owner at Fitch Ratings since January 2023, overseeing the development of a flagship analytical application while managing senior stakeholders and refining project requirements. Prior to this role, Eugene was the Director of Credit Learning for Fitch Learning, where responsibility included curriculum development for a new professional credit qualification and commercial strategy guidance. Eugene's extensive experience at Fitch Ratings also encompasses over a decade in sovereign credit risk analysis, where leadership involved credit ratings for various European and Emerging Market countries, conducting analytical missions, and initiating new coverage. Eugene holds an MSc in Finance from the London School of Economics and a BSc in Economics, Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick.
