George Tsiantos

George Tsiantos has a strong background in risk analysis and consulting. George began their career in 2007 as a Survey Analyst at the Ministry of Education in Greece. From there, they moved on to Lloyds Banking Group as an Analyst in Wholesale Risk Models. In 2010, they joined Barclays Corporate as an AVP - Credit Risk Modeller. George then worked at Fintegral as a Risk Consultant before joining GE Capital as a Risk Models Manager. George has been with Fitch Ratings since 2015, starting as a Director and then progressing to Director of Enhanced Analytics - Global FI and currently serving as the Senior Director of Enhanced Analytics & Data Science - Global FI.

George Tsiantos earned a BSc in Statistics from Athens University of Economics and Business from 2001 to 2007. George then pursued an MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance focusing on Finance, Financial Engineering, and Risk Management at Cass Business School from 2008 to 2009.
