Hélène Mariane Heberlein

Hélène Mariane Heberlein has extensive experience in the finance sector, particularly in credit rating and securitization. Currently serving as Managing Director at Fitch Ratings since November 1998, Hélène leads the analytical team responsible for assigning credit ratings to covered bonds for financial institutions in Europe and America. Previous roles at Fitch include Senior Director, overseeing the Paris-based structured finance analytical team and co-managing Spanish securitization activities, as well as Director, focusing on credit risk analysis for French and Belgian securitization transactions. Prior to Fitch, Hélène worked at WestLB France from January 1992 to October 1998 as Product Manager, where investments in French securitization transactions were made, and as Syndication Officer, originating and distributing syndicated Euroloans. Hélène's early career included a trainee program at WestLB, providing exposure to various credit-related departments, including an assignment in the New York branch. Hélène holds a Diplom Kauffrau degree in Marketing and Finance from ESCP Business School, earned between 1988 and 1991.
