Jeffrey Wark is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in public finance and asset management. Currently serving as Director in the U.S. Public Finance, Public Power Group at Fitch Ratings since March 2024, Wark previously held the position of Vice President - Special Assets at M&T Bank from April 2023 to February 2024. Prior to this, Wark spent nearly a decade as Vice President at National Public Finance Guarantee Corp., managing insured credits and overseeing multi-sector municipal finance projects from November 2013 to December 2022. Wark's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President at MBIA, where supervision of a consumer asset-backed security portfolio took place from September 2003 to November 2013. Wark holds an MBA in Finance from Iona College and a BA in Management from Manhattanville University.
