Marina Paoletti

Marina Paoletti is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in structured finance and relationship management. Currently serving as Managing Director at Fitch Ratings since July 2013, Marina leads the Continental European Structured Finance & Covered Bond team and oversees business relations with Italian financial institutions. Prior to this role, Marina held the position of Executive Director at RBS, where responsibilities included risk management within the Government Asset Protection Scheme and the oversight of distressed asset portfolios. Earlier career highlights at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. involved structuring residential and commercial mortgage-backed securities and establishing a non-performing loan finance business. Marina's career began at Fitch Ratings as an Assistant Director, focusing on the analysis and rating of European ABS and NPL transactions. Marina holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Doctoral Degree in Economics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
