Currently serving as the Managing Director and Regional Group Head for Infrastructure and Project Finance at Fitch Ratings since May 2018, Marta leads analytical coverage in the region. Prior to this role, Marta held various positions at Banco Santander Brasil, including Head of Structured Finance and Real Estate Risk, overseeing a portfolio of USD 10 billion, and has worked in credit risk management across multiple sectors. Marta's career began at Itaú Unibanco as a Credit Analyst in the energy sector. Marta holds a Master's degree in Finance from IE Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
