Shelly Shetty

Shelly Shetty is a seasoned finance professional with over two decades of experience in sovereign ratings. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Americas and Asia Sovereign Ratings at Fitch Ratings since January 2001, Shelly has held several prominent positions, including Co-Head of Sovereign Ratings for the Americas and Latin America. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President at Duff & Phelps from January 1997 to December 2000. Shelly holds a Master's degree in International Finance from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a Master's degree in Economics from the Department of Economics, Delhi School of Economics, along with a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College For Women.
