Michael Nosek currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Biology and Chemistry at Fitchburg State University since September 2021, and has been a Professor at the same institution since September 2000. Prior to their tenure at Fitchburg State University, Michael Nosek was an Adjunct Professor at Merrimack College from 1996 to 2000 and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Shriners Burns Institute from 1990 to 1996. Educationally, Michael Nosek earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biology from Tufts University between 1983 and 1990, and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Lowell from 1977 to 1981.
