Emilia Christova

Emilia Christova has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. Emilia began their professional journey in 1998 as an Assistant Professor at Plovdiv University, Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. Emilia then took on a similar role at Sofia University, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, and New Bulgarian University. In 2003, they joined NetInfo, where they worked as a Product Manager, Head of Creative Department, and Web Designer. In 2012, they moved to Edamam LLC as a Senior UX/UI Designer. In 2014, they were appointed Head of E-Business Section at Telenor Bulgaria. In 2015, they returned to NetInfo as a Product Manager. In 2019, they began working at FITE as Director Product and Product Manager, and also took on the role of Assistant Professor at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.

Emilia Christova attended the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics, Bulgarian Academy of Sciences from 1998 to 2001 where they obtained a Full-time Ph.D. in Computer Science.
