Roberto Villa has over 8 years of work experience in the fighting game. In 2013, they founded FightBook MMA, LLC and served as the CEO, Owner, and President. Roberto also hosted the podcast FightBook MMA Presents: Sitting Ringside. In 2018, they became a Partner with USA TODAY Sports Media Group. In 2019, they became the Head Writer and Social Media Manager for Valor Bare Knuckle, Inc. In 2020, they became a Partner with FITE, BRAVE Combat Federation, Caged Steel, World Lethwei Championship, ONE Championship, and Elite Amateur Fight League. In 2021, they became the Director of Gage Gladiators USA.

Roberto Villa attended Pima Medical Institute-Albuquerque from 2000 to 2001, where they earned a degree in Medical/Clinical Assistant as a Medical Assistant. In 2015, they obtained a Registered Medical Assistant certification from the American Registry of Medical Assistants. In 2018, they obtained an LLC certification from the Office Of The Secretary Of State New Mexico.
